BACHELORETTE star Clint Arlis has tragically died at the age of just 34, his former wrestling coach has announced.
Clint appeared during the eleventh season, which aired back in 2015 and during the season he was one of the men vying for the love of dance instructor Kaitlyn Bristowe, 29.
Clint was eliminated from the lineup during his third week.
Clint’s death was announced on Twitter and read: “It is with a heavy heart and a sense of profound loss that we announce the death of one of the Batavia Wrestling Program’s All-Time greats, 2005 graduate, Clint Arlis.”

Clint Arlis Cause of Death
The cause of Clint’s death is not yet known.
Clint Arlis tried to win Bristowe’s affection on season 11 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2015.
He and JJ Lane, a fellow contestant, “sparked controversy with their friendship at the time and were labeled as villains,” according to Us Weekly.
He later apologized during the Men Tell All and said his and Lane’s villain narrative was “tongue [in] cheek,” the outlet noted.
The University of Illinois wrestling team also shared a tribute to Clint Arlis following news of his untimely death.

“Our thoughts are with Clint’s family and friends during this heartbreaking time. We will miss you, Clint.”

Who is Clint Arlis?
Clint, 34, is from Batavia in New York state.
He joined his father’s coaching staff and the Batavia Wrestling Family in the late fall of 2005, following his graduation.
He then went on to become an architectural engineer.
He also tried his hand at reality TV when he appeared on The Bachelorette in its eleventh season, competing for the love of Kaitlyn Bristowe, 29.
