SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Firefighters are responding to a blaze in a commercial structure located 4800 block of South Alameda Street.
According to authorities, this is a previous burn from Nov. 23, in a structure densely packed with textiles.
The roof of the structure has partially collapsed. Fire crews are in a defensive position on the fire at this time.
Margaret Stewart, with LAFD, said 117 firefighters are currently battling the blaze.
Additional resources have been requested and so far, no injuries have been reported.
