Breaking: Cardinals’ CB Jeff Gladney was killed in a car crash early this morning in Dallas, his agent Brian Overstreet confirmed. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said two people were killed when a vehicle crashed and overturned around 2:30 AM.
Officials later confirmed that it was a male and a female that died in the accident. The female’s identity has not been disclosed. Investigators suspect the white vehicle was speeding when it clipped another vehicle from behind, lost control and crashed.
Gladney, 25, was selected by the Vikings with the 31st overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. Gladney signed with the Cardinals on March 16th. May he Rest In Peace.

Gladney, of New Boston, Texas, was entering his second season in the league and was recently picked up by the Arizona Cardinals after spending his first season in Minnesota.
ProFootballTalk said Gladney started every game for the Vikings in his rookie year but was released ahead of the 2021 season after he allegedly assaulted a woman in Dallas in April. He didn’t play in 2021 and was found not guilty in the offseason — he then signed with Arizona.
The Cardinals, on Twitter Monday, said they were devastated to learn of Gladney’s death and that he participated in organized team activities last week.
