The Dark Web Has Leaked Data on More Than 100 Million Credit, Debit Card Holders

All kind of card information is very sensitive. And it is very important for card users. Recently, over 100 million Million Credit, Debit Card Holders leaked on the dark web.

The leaked information includes full names, phone numbers, and email addresses of the cardholders. And also, with the card first & last 4 digits. All the researchers think to it collect from payment platforms Juspay.

Cause it manages all transaction process for Indian and global merchants including Amazon, MakeMyTrip, and Swiggy, among others.

The data is collected from March 2017 to August 2020. And now it leaked on the dark web. And it attaches with personal information such as card expired date and customer ID.

Recently, cybersecurity researchers share the news with everyone. Where they mentioned the data dump in the earlier week. And he says the data was sales on the dark web.

Cybersecurity researcher Rajshekhar Rajaharia said that the hacker contacts the customer on the telegram. And hacker asking buyers about payments bitcoin. And the data is sales on the dark web name with Juspay. Cybersecurity trying to get all the plans behind the case.

Researchers compare the MySQL file with the Juspay document. And the document is matched with the hacker document. But the Juspay founder saying that they get the unauthorized attempt from an unknown source.

And Juspay founder Kumar said that email and mobile information was added with anonymized on the servers. And he recorded around 10 crore metadata. Overall, Kumar does not agree with cybersecurity. But Cybersecurity works hard to find the real fault.
